💖 An Update on Ellie! 💖
We would firstly like to thank everyone for their kind wishes and most generous response in donations towards Ellie’s surgery and vet costs – it was overwhelming! 💞🐾
You will remember this little girl was rescued by a young mum, spending all her savings after seeing her advertised on the internet, only to discover she had been used as a breeding machine and required significant veterinary care. 😢
Your generosity has helped Ellie through her first stage of surgery where she underwent a long procedure that included a repair to a large hernia (which turned out to be her uterus), removal of a mass from her neck, to be tested, plus extensive BOAS surgery.
Ellie went through a very challenging recovery after all of this surgery and had to remain in the veterinary hospital for 4 days!
She is now home, making a steady recovery. Ellie is really enjoying being back with her foster family including their pug Rolo, and is even enjoying her new-found tummy tickles again. Rolo hasn’t left her side since, and follows her everywhere making sure she is okay.
After a further few worrying days, the results of the mass removed came back to thankfully confirm it was benign. We couldn’t wish for better news for Ellie, or to update you with!!
