Established for 51 years – Helping Pugs in Need!
PDWRA’s essential work, Rescuing, Rehabilitating and Rehoming Pugs, can only occur due to the generosity of volunteers and donators.
If you are able to help in any way to raise funds, we and our pugs are truly grateful!
By early June, here’s a snapshot of what our dedicated PDWRA Volunteers achieved:

Another PDWRA supporter, Jayne, who creates handmade cards and illustrations, raised * £150 * last summer for PDWRA in a fundraiser to mark the 15th birthday of her late, gorgeous pug Henry. He was her inspiration for her business onelittlepug, so his legacy lives on!
Her lovely range of handmade cards, with many featuring pug illustrations, can usually be found at her Etsy shop, though there is a temporary break from there at the moment: onelittlepug – Etsy UK
A portion of all proceeds is donated to PDWRA, so you’ll also be helping out Pugs in Need!
In fact Jayne went on to adopt Arlo and Nora from us!
Still operating from their Instagram account, @onelittlepug have more beautiful hand-made cards and bookmarks being featured in a pre-Christmas sale, with all profits going to PDWRA to help pugs in need. These are one-off items and once they’re gone that’s it, so get in early to avoid disappointment!

To see what’s available and to grab something special for Christmas, just take a look @onelittlepug before they all get snapped up!
@onelittlepug and Arlo & Nora raised £130 for PDWRA from the sale of exclusive illustrations, cards and bookmarks in the summer.
We’re incredibly grateful for their ongoing support and to everyone who makes purchases. The PDWRA wouldn’t be able do the work that we do rescuing and rehoming pugs in need without the generous help of our supporters, it’s very much appreciated!

We have many local pug groups who regularly remember us when they get-together or hold events. Most recently down in the beautiful region of Cornwall, a memorial walk was held for a truly beloved pug, Magnolia.
Her Mum Mandy, who has fundraised for us with her crafts in the past, together with the wonderful pug owners in their group, collected and donated £50 to PDWRA, which we are very grateful for.

Lynn, seen here, uses every opportunity to fundraise for the PDWRA. She’s famed for her Teddy Tombola’s appearing at many local community events.
She generously made and donated over * £1,200 * from her efforts last summer to PDWRA.
Lynn has just donated * £160 * this July, from this local event, following * £170 * from the sale of festive soldiers and reindeers that Lynn’s husband Geoff created last Christmas, and so they continue….!
They have a grumble of five male pugs, including fosters with substantial needs, who they welcomed with open arms and never let them go!
