Dolly was surrendered to us by a family who called her fat and lazy! She was terrified on collection, and hid under her foster carer’s sofa that first afternoon. Her breathing was very loud and very poor, but she was only 3 years old, so we put her through BOAS surgery and it became 100% better. She was also quite overweight, tipping the scales at over 10kgs. It became clear that she hadn’t been walked regularly, but she soon learned to love her walks, and was already losing weight when we identified her forever home. Dolly has oodles of character and loves nothing more than a cuddle and watching TV.
