Tommy aka Moo Man is 12 possibly 13 and moved from Sheffield to Warwickshire in 2005 after the loss of his former owner. He was hand delivered by Sylvia and John and was content to stay in his new home. Since this time he has adventured lots such as camping on the South Downs, and exploring Welsh Slate Mines. Each year he has written several times to the son of his former owner. His favourite activities are sitting in the sunny spots and having lots of fuss (not much activity then!). He also hates birds and horses on TV and Wimbledon is a complete no-go each summer! He has been on a diet to help reduce the affect of the spondylosis that he has developed and he is now at the recommended weight. He has a special table to raise his dishes off the floor and has also had acupuncture which has helped a great deal. He is still very fit and healthy but his eyesight and hearing are now deteriorating. Life just wouldn’t be the same without Moo and he has been a terrific companion whilst I have been ill with depression...

We thank Nicky for writing about Tommy and to Mark Smithers for the lovely photos
